#OldGames is the largest old games channel on IRC (EFNet to be specific).
We avarage 150-200 users depending on the weekday.
Unlike other channels, we also like talking whilst downloading. To support
this emphasis, no public triggers are allowed. Find us at irc.efnet.org
and have great time without constant !trigger-flooding.
If you have any questions,
suggestions etc. for these pages or the channel itself. Please submit
them in the dedicated area on the messageboard. You can also request games
here to be put up for direct download from these pages without having
to make an account. We will try to honor your requests wherever possible.

Ok, probably nobody reads this news anyway, but its worth a try. We seem to be hemorrhaging servers atm, so if anybody can start serving, please do. Anybody using mIRC could probably use my fserve script, so come ask me if you want. Or I have an easy mIRC script for advertising an ftp. 1997 and older games only please, 20+ minute timers, /ctcp or /msg triggers, and no advert colors. If you need some incentive, I might be persuaded to upload larger games to people willing to serve.

As you can see its been a year since the idiots page has had an update, to be honest I don't have the time to trawl though a years worth of log. But if anyone who wants to help contribute and have a look through their logs then please do, contact me on efnet and i'll make sure to add everything I get.

Some of you may have noticed that the site has been down for the past week. The problem has now been resolved and everything is back as it should be. Also made a few minor updates the a few of the pages and changed a few things in the FAQ ;) see if you can spot them.

Everyone in the UK should remember the legendary GamesMaster tv show hosted by Domonic Diamond. Well series 1 is being repeated on Challenge (Sky Channel 121) from the 20th October on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's at 10.30am and repeated later at 6.30pm.
This is great news for retrogaming fans, everyone remember to set their capture cards at the ready.
